Terms and Conditions
All training courses must be booked on a valid Specflue booking form. Once received by Specflue candidates will be sent email confirmation that their booking has been received, although at this time the place will be on a provisional basis. Six weeks prior to the course commencing an invoice for payment will be issued along with a request for pre-requisites (if required for the course). Full payment and pre-requisites must be received at least 28 days before the course start date. If these are not received the candidate’s place on the course may be lost.
It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that they have booked onto the correct course. Should the wrong course be booked, no refund will be issued. Candidates will be contacted if the requested course is full and offered an alternative date. All pre-requisites are the responsibility of the candidate to provide. Incorrect pre-requisites may result in a candidate being refused entry onto the course, and forfeiting all course fees. In the case of cancellations, Specflue will hold a waiting list for those wishing to attend fully booked courses.
Specflue regret that we are unable to offer refunds for course cancellations; where candidates wish to cancel their place or fail to start. Either a written notification or email is required to transfer a booking to another course. Specflue reserves the right to make amendments to course dates, fees or other details, and to make cancellations. In the unfortunate situation that we have to cancel a course, we will refund candidates fees in full.
In the event of failing a course assessment, the exam must be re-taken within three months of the original assessment. The cost of the reassessment is £25.00 + VAT. The assessment for the BPEC Vented & Unvented Hot Water Systems (Part G3) Certificate is broken into three sections. If the multiple choice section of this assessment is failed the entire course will need to be retaken at the full cost of the course.
